Zionist hand in terror

Interior Minister Rehman Malik’s disclosure about the use of Israel-made weapons in Karachi that has for long been in the grip of murderous attacks by rival criminal groups might have surprised those who are unaware of the machinations of the Zionists, but to the informed it was no news. They have always believed, not merely suspected, that not only Israel, but also a wider nexus that brings India and the US into the fold, has been at work stirring up trouble in Pakistan as well as, particularly, other Muslim lands, which could serve their strategic designs of the dominance of certain regions of the world to enable them to appropriate their resources for exploitation. In the case of Pakistan, where war-like situation exists, thanks to the invaders of Afghanistan, the nexus has been active not only in Karachi, but also in Balochistan and elsewhere. The links of the attackers on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore can be traced back to Zionists. The conditions of war provide these troublemakers an ideal fertile ground. Thus, for instance, there is evidence that the Taliban, whom the US is fighting a war, have been receiving arms from their sympathisers who buy, in large quantities, ‘their requirements’ of weapons from Western sellers. It is a tragic story of human greed that these suppliers know who the end-users are, and yet the shipments continue.
Besides, the nexus of troublemakers would welcome the prospects of turmoil anywhere in the world since that would make it possible for them to take advantage of the situation. Thus, a thriving smuggling trade of sophisticated weaponry is patronised. It is no secret, rather it is well documented, that no less than 67 percent of the illegal business of arms smuggling is in the hands of the Israelis. These smuggler-hounds are, in fact, known to be on the look-out for prospective buyers and one can place orders with them for virtually any equipment in the armoury of the best arms producers of the world.
Talking to the journalists at Islamabad international airport on Sunday, Mr Malik said that from the 200-odd suspects arrested for their involvement in the Karachi bloodshed, the police have recovered Israel-made weapons, including AK-45, pointing to foreign hand behind the anarchic situation prevailing in the economic hub and port city. Further probe was under way and he promised to make public the findings as well as to give the media an opportunity to question these culprits and know for themselves who had been prompting them to indulge in the nefarious scheme of disturbing the peace in the city and beyond in Pakistan. For the government, it is essential to probe the matter to the finish and try to find out the sources of the funding of this vicious project of widespread destabilisation. Once the guilt is established, there should be no hesitation in confronting the powers responsible for it.
