India, US hatching conspiracies: Karim

LAHORE – The Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith said on Thursday that the US and India were hatching conspiracies to destabilise Pakistan. Speaking at TheNation Forum, MJAH?Secretary General Dr Hafiz Abdul Karim said the CIA (of US), RAW and MOSAD (of Israel) were involved in the terrorist activities here.
Hafiz Abdul Karim also said that the government was not sincere in ending energy crisis. He said that construction of dams and use of coal resources could not only end energy crises but it could also enable Pakistan to export electricity. He said that certain quarters made Kalabagh Dam controversial with the purpose to weaken Pakistan. He urged the rulers to remove differences and develop consensus among province on the Kalabagh Dam as it was necessary for the country.
He said that President Zardari and the PPP were trying to bring all the opposition parties in an alliance after isolating the PML-N. He said that there was strong possibility of revival of MMA before coming general elections. He said that efforts were underway to remove differences between Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) for the revival of MMA. He said that both the parties would get huge benefit of revival of MMA in Balochistan and Khyber PK.
Referring to the PML-N’s efforts of making a grand alliance, he said that the PML-N and the MQM alliance was aimed at giving a tough time to the ruling PPP in the parliament. He said that the PML-N has invited MQM to join grand alliance but the later has not yet become a part of it.
He said that the MJAH wanted its ally PML-N to invite JI, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and other parties out of the parliament for joining grand alliance. He said that it was a pity that rulers were making policies for own benefits instead of watching interests of the country.
