Don't blame groups without proof: Urdu press

MUMBAI: The Urdu press has called for a fair probe into the blasts that rocked the city and criticised intelligence agencies for failing to prevent them. In its editorial titled 'Mumbai par ek aur buzdilana hamla' (Another cowardly attack on Mumbai), the Inquilab said the attackers aimed to send shock waves across the country by attacking its commercial hub.

Commentators also slammed the tendency to blame one terror group without proof. "Pointing fingers at the Indian Mujahideen or LeT will not deter the culprits. We must have concrete proof to show their involvement," said Hasan Kamaal, editor of Sahafat daily.
