NEW DELHI: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father in Tilak nagar area of west Delhi on Wednesday. The accused has been taken into custody, cops said.
"The victim made a PCR call about the incident around 8pm. The girl accused her drunken father of raping her. We have registered a case ," said a senior police officer. According to the police, the victim was alone when the accused came home drunk. He started misbehaving with his daughter and reportedly raped her. The victim was sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for medical examination and treatment. The victim's medical report is awaited, said police.
